Welcome to Cheryl’s Dog Training!

Cheryl started working with her own Golden Retrievers in field in 1990. Her Golden Retrievers have earned multiple field titles in AKC, GRCA Field Events. She has run her dogs in Master Nationals and qualified, as well  as all levels of AKC Hunt Tests from Junior through Master Hunter. Her dogs have placed in Field Trials in Derby and Qualifying stakes.  Learning from some of the most recognized Professionals in the area she honed her skills and started professionally training in 2004. Cheryl has built her training programs on a philosophy that each dog and their owner/handler are unique. Not one size, fits all, and adjusts her program to fit the dog to get the best performance possible.

The result is Cheryl and her clients have achieved incredible personal successes and countless titles including Field Trial Placements, Master Hunters, Master National Qualifiers, Senior Hunters, Junior Hunters and numerous Working Titles. Cheryl has also groomed owners, and their dogs in the art of upland game and duck hunting skills preparing them for an enjoyable season of Hunting. Offering services to all ages and Retriever breeds from puppies to adults.  She has worked with Poodles, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Flat Coated Retrievers, and Golden Retrievers. Adjusting her program to suit the individual dog.

Evaluations, private lessons, small group sessions, and optional weekly train and boarding available.
